Reporting by Daily Post indicates the Academic Staff Union of Universities began an indefinite strike at Lagos State University, Lagos State University of Education and Lagos State University of Science and Technology over what the union said was non-implementation of a 2025 agreement.
The Sun independently listed the same shutdown among 16 September national stories. Naija News also reported ASUU closing the three campuses over unresolved demands.
Echotitbits take: State-owned campuses are now the pressure point, not only federal ASUU. Watch whether the Lagos government publishes a costed implementation timetable before the strike spreads to other state universities.
