According to Leadership, residents say a newly finished 15-kilometre Karu road from the Abuja–Keffi interchange to Customs Clinic Junction has cut congestion, improved drainage and added street lighting. Contractor Abdul-Val Nigeria Limited also built feeder roads serving DSS, NIA, EFCC and nearby quarters.
Project manager Hacı Cengiz said the indigenous firm employed about 259 workers, many local, and called the job fully complete. Residents quoted by the paper described shorter commutes after rain.
Independent confirmation was limited to Leadership’s field interviews; a second national title’s engineering audit was not in the reviewed feeds.
