In a corporate update published by Pulse Nigeria, media executive Mo Abudu announced the launch of EbonyLife Place in London, establishing the United Kingdom’s first dedicated cinema hub focused strictly on African and Black film projects.
The international venue aims to provide a permanent platform for African filmmakers, international Black creators, and global distributors looking to reach diaspora audiences. The London location will screen premier Nollywood titles, independent Black films, and host cultural panel discussions.
This expansion marks a milestone in Mo Abudu’s strategy to internationalize African narrative arts and secure dedicated exhibition infrastructure abroad.
