A long-running dispute between state governors and NNPC Ltd resurfaced over an alleged $42.37bn under-remittance to the Federation Account covering 2011–2017. FAAC directed a joint reconciliation session after NNPC questioned elements of an audit commissioned by the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
