NCC Opens Free Access to Approved Digital Learning Platforms

ThisDay reports that the Nigerian Communications Commission has launched a zero-rated data initiative intended to give eligible learners free access to approved educational platforms.

The programme is designed to lower connectivity barriers, support digital skills and reduce inequality in access to online learning resources.

Implementation will matter most: platform approval, user eligibility, network performance and whether the allowance is large enough for meaningful study will determine the programme’s real educational value.
