The discussions in Jiangsu Province focused on irregular migration, document fraud and transnational organised crime and formed part of a wider migration-management forum with participants from 139 countries and organisations.
Any durable benefit will depend on operational protocols, data-protection safeguards and measurable improvements in document integrity and cross-border crime prevention.
