As reported by Nigerian Entertainment Today, prominent record label Chocolate City has initiated legal proceedings demanding ₦50 million in damages from hip-hop star Odumodublvck. The legal action stems from an alleged physical altercation involving a staff member during the Flytime Festival.
The suit claims that the incident caused injury and distress to the staff member, prompting the label to seek legal redress and financial restitution. Neither Odumodublvck nor his management team has issued a formal public response to the court filings as of press time.
Corroborating the legal conflict, The Sun Nigeria verified the lawsuit filing, quoting court records that state “Chocolate City is demanding compensation over an alleged physical attack on its personnel.” In addition, Vanguard News reported on the dispute, noting that the label emphasizes “a firm zero-tolerance policy toward harassment and assault in professional entertainment spaces.”
