Income generated entirely by diaspora professionals in foreign jurisdictions remains completely exempt from local tax assessments under valid international treaties.
The government continues to encourage the diaspora community to channel investments directly into real estate, infrastructure bonds, and tech startups without fear of aggressive fiscal penalties. The clarification comes amid a national push to streamline the country’s multiple tax categories into a single-digit structure.
