The intensive five-day curriculum focused on Advanced Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
The program, which concluded in Yaba, aimed to inject highly specialized digital skill sets into the local talent pool, positioning beneficiaries for high-paying roles across the tech, oil and gas, and financial sectors. Participants underwent rigorous training in predictive modeling, dashboard construction, and data-driven corporate decision-making.
By focusing on tech competencies, the NCDMB is expanding its traditional oversight beyond heavy engineering and oilfield logistics into the digital economy. Organizers stressed that bridging the local capacity deficit in tech analytics remains critical to preventing the outsourcing of digital roles to foreign contractors.
