Vanguard reports that Burna Boy and Colombian superstar Shakira have crossed one billion YouTube views with their World Cup collaboration “Dai Dai.”
The music video became the first release of 2026 reported to have passed the billion-view threshold, adding another major international milestone to Burna Boy’s Afrobeats career.
The track’s global exposure was amplified through the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the artists performed the song during major tournament events.
Spanish news agency EFE reported that the video surpassed “1.000 millones de reproducciones” in less than three months, while Shakira celebrated the achievement by saying, “A billion views is beyond my dreams.”
