According to a participant reveal live stream by Twitch star @kaicenat, Nigerian content creators Carter Efe and Damii have been officially inducted into the highly competitive Streamer University Class of 2026. The immersive internet bootcamp accepted only 120 content creators from thousands of global applicants this year.
Carter Efe, who initially transitioned from comedy skits to hit music records, has heavily pivoted into the live-streaming market, regularly hosting top-tier music artists and media personalities on his interactive broadcasts. Damii, a Nigerian-American lifestyle and gaming creator, secured the second African slot on the list.
The multi-day program functions as an intensive incubator where global creators collaborate directly with the internet’s biggest personalities to scale their personal brands. The 2026 edition has adopted a hyper-realistic university theme complete with designated “professors” from the AMP collective.
Validating the global selection list, an entertainment report by Nigerian Entertainment Today affirmed that “the two creators have each built loyal online communities through different styles of content.” A structural breakdown by gaming outlet Win.gg further added that “the Dean, Kai Cenat, has added more categories to make the theme closer to a real-life university.”
