A report by Punch, FCMB and Alitheia Capital are backing a two-day Lagos conference designed to connect about 300 women-led MSMEs with finance, investors, markets and technical support.
The W.O.M.A.N. 2026 programme focuses on manufacturing, agribusiness and nutrition and includes sessions on governance, investment readiness, climate resilience, energy transition and AI.
The initiative reflects growing efforts to close gender gaps in formal finance while helping established women-owned enterprises move from survival to scalable growth.
The Guardian Nigeria separately corroborated the development, reporting that “more than 300 women-led businesses”. The Sun Nigeria also confirmed the core development, noting that “exclusive banking partner”.
